IT’S WARM WELCOMING: ORIENTATION DAY

IT’S WARM WELCOMING: ORIENTATION DAY

Welcome back my readers 😍
Well, the second day schedule is orientation in Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the royal patronage. At 08.00 am some buddies picked us up to go to the 15th building on the 3rd floor meeting room. After we arrived on meeting room, we had to sign the attendance. Before the orientation started, the committee gave us a Thailand snack.
This orientation day started at 08.00 am guided by the coordinator from VRU. The orientation would be welcoming, giving the schedule, meet VRU President and Dean, Orientation Session, meet VRU Mentors, and meet VRU Buddies.

The first speech was given by VRU President, the President gave us warm welcoming as a student exchange in VRU.

Dr. Supot Saikaew (President of Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University)
The next speech was from the Dean of Faculty of Education. On this orientation day, they explained about history of VRU.

Oke this is a little history about my beloved host university.

The university was founded by Her Royal Highness Somdetch Phra Raja Pituchha Chao Fa Valaya Alongkron, Krom Luang the Princess of Phetchaburi. H.R.H. Princess Valaya Alongkorn was greatly concerned with the education of young Thai women. The first group of the students was teacher-training students, other post-secondary students, and secondary school students. The colour of this university is green which is associated with the day of H.R.H Princess Valaya Alongkorn was born.

Okay that’s a little history about VRU . . .

The next agenda was introducing our self (the sea-teacher participants) in front of the audience. After that, the President of VRU gave us a note book and ID card brooch. Which means we were received as a part of VRU’s family hehe.

Yellow couple :)) Hehe

The committee also told us many things about keeping safe, healthy, getting support and do/don’t in Thailand. We get new knowledge about this country. Next activity is met VRU mentors. There are some mentors that will lead us in teaching practice.
My mentor is Aj. Nit Neingnoi.  We greet each other, then I asked her ID line to make the communication easily. She also gave me a schedule during this program.

Sea teacher participants also were having to meet with their buddies. My buddy’s name is Wuttikorn, but his nickname is Art. He is very friendly and humble person. He said that he will help me if I need something. Art also gave me a Thai name, Som. Then, we shared our ID line.
Oh ya FYI, mostly Thai people use Line and Facebook for their social media. :)

Okay nice readers, that's all about my orientation session.
See u on my next post!! 💟

Last pict as a closing HAHA
