Based on the academia.edu, teaching plan or lesson plan is detailed guide that constructed by the teacher as a class instruction. Lesson plan contains detailed step by step of teaching process.

Curriculum

Curriculum that used in this school is based from Ministry of Education in Thailand. The curriculum is Basic Core Education Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D.2008).
The main step of Basic Core Education Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D.2008) is:
1. Warm-up
2. Presentation
3. Practice (Productivity of language)


Teaching plan related of major

Before teaching practice, me as a student-teacher have to make lesson plan based on their topic. The lesson plan must submitted to the mentor and cooperating teacher before doing teaching practice.

Chapter                                : Let’s go to the zoo

Duration                              : 1 x 60 minutes

Lesson Content                 : Animal in the zoo

Indicators                           :
1.      Student will be able to know the name of various animals in the zoo.

2.      Student will be able to determine which animals’ lives in the zoo.

Language Focus        :
1.      Animal in the zoo.

Vocabulary                :
-          Elephant
-          Giraffe
-          Lion
-          Zebra
-          Tiger
-          Snake
-          Monkey
-          Flamingo
-          Gorilla
Procedures
1.      The students will learn about various animals in the zoo.
Teaching activities

-          Warm up (15 minutes)

·         Lead them to pray and meditation.
·         Checking the attendance.
·         Use this time to let students know and ready about the today's material by giving them the question.
e. g:     Hello students, how are you today?
            Are you ready for learning today?
           
·         Next, sing and dance English song to create a relaxed classroom situation as an ice breaking. The teacher plays the fun English song related to the material to motivate the student.

·         After the students feel relax and happy, the teacher tells the chapter of today’s material. Then play a video related to the material to build the knowledge of the students.

-          Presentation (20 minutes)

·         Show the video of various animals in the zoo.
·         Explain the name of the animals by showing them the picture on the screen. 
e. g:

                                  
Q: What is animal do you see in the picture?
A: It is a monkey.

-          Practice (25 minutes)

·         Give a quiz before ask them to do the worksheet to check the student understanding
-          The multiple choice games.
Instructions:
-          The students divided into six groups.
-          The teacher shows the multiple choices questions on the screen.
-          The student asked to answer the questions by raising her/his hand.
-          The group which can answer the questions correctly will get 5 points.                              
-     Productive activity
~    The draw me game
Instructions:
a.       The students set into six groups.
b.      The teacher shows the picture of animals.
c.       The teacher gives the flashcard of picture the animals.
d.      The students asked to draw and named the animals.

                    b. Zoo animals for kids.

-          Evaluation/Assessment
·         Teacher will assess the students based on their comprehension, activeness, and correctness of pronunciation.
